Nocturnal November!

Its now that time of year when xmas is closing in on us at a fast pace along with dark mornings and dark nights! But to balance that we have the beauty of still seeing all the different autumn colours on the trees before the winter claims them all.
Nearly all my commissions now are for xmas so its not only busy but secretive too which means I can't share any of my lovely subjects for a while yet. Its always nice to hand over a finished commission and seeing the pleasure in it being received. But now there is excitement along with the pleasure when my customers tell me that they can't wait to see their loved ones face when they see the surprise portrait gifted to them.
I smile, I have been there myself when I have gifted one of my portraits to a loved one :-)
My November photo is an elderly Max chilling on his favourite sofa as he loved to do, one of my beloved labradors who is now at Rainbow Bridge playing in puddles and finding sticks x
